Job Description:
KMNR is currently seeking an ASP.NET Developer with 3 to 5 years experience. Candidate will be team players who are highly motivated with good communication skills in English (both verbal and written). Do not apply for the position is you are not capable of communicating in English.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or College diploma related to computer science.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in software development.
Experience with a variety of programming languages and software, including SharePoint 2013, SQL server, C#, Visual Basic, SharePoint Designer 2013, InfoPath Designer 2013 .Net 4.0 and object-oriented design and development.
Excellent knowledge of SDLC, together with Microsoft .NET and related technologies.
Working knowledge of web services, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, XML,XSLT, and T-SQL.
Working knowledge of developing mobile friendly pages using the following technologies would be as asset: Bootstrap, JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, React, etc.), MVC 5 and Entity Framework
Nice to have skills include: experience in developing multi-tier enterprise web applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, MSSQL Server 2008 R2 and Visual Studio.
Knowledge of application life cycle development.
Attention to detail and an ability to accept direction.
Highly innovative, open and able to adaptable to change.
Strong written and oral communication skills; able to communicate with both internal and external clients.
Able to work closely with others to gather information.
Able to work independently and as part of a team (which includes 1 to 2 other developers, multiple support staff).
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain intranet web applications in SharePoint 2013; implement functional enhancements for intranet web applications in SharePoint 2013; per business requirements.
Responsible for version releases of web application and database modifications.
Develop and maintain SQL server database. Update existing databases, design and develop new databases, stored procedures and queries in MSSQL.
Work with business groups to create and maintain reports; such as New Hire, Staff Lists and Contact Reports using SQL Reporting Services for users and management.
Develop and maintain new releases for systems integrations.
Responsible for systems integrations with in-house databases.
Participate in gathering functional requirements and defining processes for application development and systems integrations.
Create necessary technical and architecture; documentation and flowcharts for web application processes.
Troubleshoot and fix errors in web applications.
Coordinate with Android App developers
On the job learning: Develop custom applications in ASP.Net / C# for REVIT (a building systems design software) using APIs. Guidance will be provided.
Coordinate and work with IT infrastructure team for technical requirements of the development life cycle.
